  • which sealer?

Just deciding which paint sealer to go for on a new audi.

have used Nanolex previously and liked the results.

interested in thoughts on the Wolfgang sealer..

    thanks!

    Hey dude,

I spent about 12 months in an Audi dealership, and brought a bunch of my own waxes/sealants in to see what played well with the stock to make re-cleans etc easier.

What sort of products do you like using:
    Spray on wipe off,
    Spray waxes,
    Coatings,
    Wax Sealants?

    What is the paint colour?
    What model?
Is it garage at home or work?

It sounds funny but all of this will influence my advice.

If you can't be bothered answering this, just grab a big bottle of Kamikaze Overcoat from Detail Central and apply every 2-4 weeks as you dry.

Hi - thanks for taking the time:
      - coatings
      - daytona grey
      - s3
      - garaged for both

      thanks,

      Matt

I have the same vehicle and colour, 2 yrs in, Opticoat Pro+ , Concourse snow foam+, then 2BM with carpro reset , and carpro reload (diluted) every 2-3 weeks, and she still looks glossy and new. Also get the full wheels opticoated, as audi brake pads are made of chocolate

If you have the budget, get a good installer to apply opticoat pro +

Once applied, they now have a great range of products designed to be used with the coating to prolong its looks/durability (though it is a permanent coating)

If money is lower and motivation high, maybe consider Kamikaze ISM and Overcoat. ISM does this peculiar polarising effect on metallic colours, it's really stunning. Overcoat is still the best spray sealant I have ever used, but I still use optimum stuff when working on cars that have their coatings.
