  • Supercheap LED worklights

I see Supercheap has LED worklights now, has anybody used them yet?
I think I might get a little single portable one to try out. I seen the twin tripod set ups advertised too.

I had a twin 500W halogen tripod set up, but got rid of it because it was too f***ing hot to work with.

are they on their website, because I couldn't find it.

I'm a mobile dj and got a few LED lights, I tried using them on white (colour mix) and it didn't work very well. So i was hoping to find LED worklights as I don't want to deal with the heat either, but i think the old style show swirls better. So there is a trade off there.

The LED would have to be 5W each I imagine to be bright enough.

I seen them in their latest catalogue. I'm going to go and check to see if they got any here tomorrow.

I went and bought a single portable LED work light to try out, but I took it back. It was ok, but not bright enough. The halogen 500w ones are heaps better!

I swapped it for one of these hand held spot lights, WOW! I like this!!! Not big at all, and has a high beam and low beam setting. I recommend it!

I still have a Coleman 530 lumen LED torch, but as much as it's bright, it's a pain in the arse to hold.

So I bought one of these:

Cost me $46 off eBay. High and Low beam. Works a treat!
