  • Your Garage setup

Couldn't find a thread like this (at least not a recent one) so I thought i would start one for members to post pictures of their garage and storage setup. This thread is not only for showing off your products but to give other members (amateurs and pros) ideas for their garage setups and storage setups. Pictures (with some write up info) of your actual garage, work equipment, products, where you work on your car etc etc would be awesome.

I would start with mine but don't have my own place yet so haven't got a proper setup yet, just using a spare room for my goodies at the moment.

Here's what I did only very recently. Was just getting sick of the mess and lack of storage.

This is the 400mm wide Rack It brand stuff from Bunnings. It comes in 600mm wide too, but too deep to get stuff from the back if the shelves are loaded! You can just add what you want, build what you like.

All this cost about $400, and it's a lot better quality and heavy duty than the standard shelving kits you can buy, not to mention cheaper too.

Since these pictures were taken, I have added another shelf to each side already, and got some storage containers to sort out all my pads, applicators, and microfiber cloths, etc.

That looks great Matty. That new shelving keeps everything very neat. Are your MF towels in that red storage box in the middle?

That's my tool box lol! I just got some clear plastic storage tubs, they fit 3 to a shelf.

The rear half of my garage is a little different to most, but works well for me

My project car (falcon) is getting towed out for the first bit of paintwork next week, so by next weekend the shed should look like less of a bomb-site. I'll take some before/after photos and post them up.
I love my shed, but spending lots of time in it means it is constantly filled with parts/tools/panels everywhere
