  • Brand New Aston Martin Vantage Swirled !

This Aston Martin Vantage had swirl marks from the factory ! The Aston Martin Dealership in Melbourne ( Australia ) was stressing out !
I spent over twelve hours polishing it . Menzerna and Lake Country products for this car. Finished off with P21 S. Here are the end results !

I would be amazed if it left the factory like that given the quality control systems that are in place, looks more like its been imported and some tool has buffed it like it was his knob.

              Great work though!!!

you are a credit to the industry Mario. people laugh at me when i tell them that it can take 12 hours or even 20 housr to polish a car properly so its good to know that there are dealerships that are willing to pay for it.

It looks fantastic Mario and you have a done a great job. I agree with Cam too as I have spent 4 hours getting the fine scratches out my Monaro paint and I have only done the passenger side. It will take the best part of 10 hours all up to get it to were I want it to be.

This also applys to tthe average joe as well. for most a quick slap on of an AIO & they think thats a polish. hehehehehe, I dont regard that as a detail i describe it as a General tidy up which is about what 99% of my customers want & are willing only to pay for. what you see is what you get., the fact is the very large majority dont want to pay for 12-20hours of labour, my own experience is once you start quoting around the $200 mark they start to squirm...

                    Nice work BTW Mario..

                        Nice work mario.

It is a mystery as to who buffed (stuffed) that Aston. I cant imagine it would have had many stops on the way over to the dealership. Cant imagine anyone at the wharfs would have done it......

                        Very intersting.....

Maybe it was from another dealership as a stock swap or something like that.

                        Again nice work

                            Thanks Chris ,

No it came direct from UK factory in this condition !
The AM Vantages come in containers they get opened once they arrive in Melbourne . Nobody touches them except the AM Service Manager who drives them back to the dealership !

I was 8O myself when i saw the state of the paint !
