The thing that you do, after your day job, in your free time, early in the morning or late at night. The thing you read about, write about, think about, fantasize about. that thing you do alone and theres no one to impress, nothing to prove, no money to be made, simply a passion to pursue. Thats it, thats your thing, thats your heart , your guide, Thats the thing you must, must do.

      • Steel wool?

Detailing is an art, a gift and a curse. Use it wisely

          • Before and after of Supra headlights I restored.
Sanded using the Rupes LHR75E with 1500, 2000 and 3000 followed up with Meg's M105 paired with a MF cutting disc and Optimum Hyper Polish with a Meguiars foam polishing pad.
They were then given an IPA wipedown and coated with Opti-Lens.

These were "restored" by the owner 2 weeks prior using a DIY kit.

            • Working on a DESTROYED blue toyota corolla sedan this weekend.

It will still be covered in RIDs when I am done, but the colour match on the following resprayed panels will be much less gray.

              HD CUT-CCS Orange

              • 2000 grit chasing away some extensive rids on the boot.
                Total paint lost: 1-2 um

Very impressed with HD Cut, it took this grit away in a single section pass with an orange CCS pad.

                    • Look closely!
Far side of roof has been mechanically decontaminated with a clay towel, near side has not.
No polishing involved at this point.
