The thing that you do, after your day job, in your free time, early in the morning or late at night. The thing you read about, write about, think about, fantasize about. that thing you do alone and theres no one to impress, nothing to prove, no money to be made, simply a passion to pursue. Thats it, thats your thing, thats your heart , your guide, Thats the thing you must, must do.

      • Imagine, if you will, another package full of goodies from Detail Central. Today's shipment included a bottle of Angelwax Resurrection, a pot of Guardian and a selection of Buff and Shine Uro-Fiber Pads.

        Can't wait for the weekend!!

            • Our set of 4 RE71R tyres arrived from Tirerack usa. Took 10 calendar days and cost US$320 to freight via fedex econ.

215/45 R17 size for one of our Hondas.

Bought some RE11 tyres from them some 7 years ago, if we feel it's a marked improvement as many suggest will migrate more cars to this tyre as well. Brigestone Aust has since released it on our market, not sure of the pricing but the RE11 they used to bring in certain sizes were real bent over prices.

                • Cut that strap off ASAP as it can stuff the tyres.

                    Limited track use only AusAbarth.

Nothing special about these tyres, they are merely an aggressive street tyre that is track tolerant with excessively stiff sidewall to compensate for stock cars with very little neg camber ie 0.5 to 1 deg neg camber so the tyre edge doesnt get chopped up at the track after only a few hot laps. The same goes for Dunlop Z2 ( re71r is like a copy of this except softer rubber )and AD08R.

I use mostly A050 for competition work on my racecar where every millisecs count, Hankook Z221 if the surface is coarse and ambient is warmish.

We lend cars out to frens from time to time who has never driven at a track and these are ideal for our usage.

They look like track tyres !! How is the wet performance - they look "marginal" in the wet ??
