  • Toyota Prado's - Pic Heavy

Had a couple Prados in this week which needed some attention.

First up is a Prado which was stuck in a flood and had muddy water right up to the top of the guards which poured into the cabin.
The ower cleaned up as much of the carpet as he could but it left quite a heavy smell.
He wanted to keep this car so he bought it over with the main purpose of removing the smell but also wanted a Deluxe Detail carried out on it.

    Befores

Car was pre-foamed wash and clayed

Then the shampooing began. Roughly 5 hours was spent on the interior.

Owner also asked if I could see what I could do with a few scratches on the car.

    During wetsanding. 2000 grit

Sand marks removed with LC orange & Prima Swirl at 1600rpm and some slight pressure.

Sticker removed with carmel wheel but it still left some discolouring in the paint which I tried wetsanding and polishing but to no success.

Bull bar got a bit of a polish as well

      Nice one Dave,

Ive heard Toyota put some of their stickers on when the paint is very very fresh and just been sprayed so this is probably why it left its impression in the paint.

The leather was cleaned with G101 and treated with Driven VRL

that is enough to make to sell the car already.
